Who is responsible
Fabrice Brambilla operates this personal project from Switzerland. Contact: brambillafabrice@gmail.com.
Your voice and questions
When you choose to record, your browser captures audio and sends it to our server and Groq to produce a transcript and an answer. Previous messages in the current conversation provide context. We do not write voice recordings or voice-conversation transcripts to our application database. Ending the conversation clears its text from the page's memory. Reply speech uses your browser/device voice; if an optional cloud voice is enabled, answer text is sent to Fish Audio or Groq. A device voice may itself use the device vendor's cloud service.
Web searches
For current information, a short text query can be sent to Tavily. It may contain details from your question. Your audio is not sent to the search service. Tavily may use other search-index providers under its published policy. Avoid putting personal or confidential information into questions.
Browser preferences
The browser remembers your chosen language and whether it has presented the introduction and privacy information. You can remove these preferences using your browser's site-data controls. There are no advertising cookies or persistent visitor identifiers. Older visitor identifiers are removed when the updated page loads.
What the app keeps
Activity statistics contain only a date, total page openings and total voice questions submitted, retained for the latest seven calendar days in Europe/Zurich time. A valid voice question is counted when submitted, even if the answer later fails. Flagged synthetic tests and the separate text API are excluded from question totals. There are no visitor IDs, IP addresses, audio, conversation text or individual request timestamps in these statistics. Refreshes, repeated submissions and unflagged automation can add to totals; they do not identify unique people or verify human use. The separate text API holds chat IDs and messages in server memory until deletion, restart, capacity eviction or about 24 hours after the last message; expiry is checked on access and by periodic cleanup. Anyone holding a chat ID can access that chat, so keep it private.
Providers and countries
The app server is hosted on Render in Frankfurt, Germany. Groq processes inference in the United States. Inference zero data retention is enabled for this project; Groq still retains usage metadata. Tavily and optional voice providers may process data in the United States and other countries named in their policies and subprocessor information. Render and other providers can keep technical and security information under their own retention rules. Provider processing and international-transfer terms still apply; the absence of an app recording does not mean no provider processes data. Provider information:
Purpose and sensitive information
Ordinary conversation data is processed to provide the service you request. Technical processing also protects operation and security. Where GDPR applies, the relevant bases for ordinary service processing and security are Article 6(1)(b) and Article 6(1)(f), respectively. The service does not ask you to disclose a disability, health history, financial information or identity documents. Do not share sensitive or confidential personal data. Starting a conversation or granting microphone permission is not blanket explicit consent to special-category processing under Article 9 GDPR.
Your choices and rights
Recording starts only after you choose to speak and grant browser microphone access. End the conversation to stop further recording; this cannot recall information already transmitted. You may contact Fabrice to request access, correction, deletion or restriction, or to object, subject to applicable law. We may need information to identify the records concerned and do not require an account. You may complain to the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner or the relevant authority where you live. Provider logs and API chat storage are separate from aggregate visit counts.
AI and limitations
You interact with an AI assistant, not a person. Answers can be inaccurate. Check important information independently. This is a general information project, not a medical, emergency, financial or legal service. It does not decide eligibility, make diagnoses or make decisions about you.
Feedback and professional contact
If you email us, your message and contact details are used to respond and improve the project. For a professional feedback invitation, contact details come from the organization's published professional contact information. We keep the minimum correspondence and delivery or do-not-contact record needed to handle the discussion and prevent repeated invitations. You can object by replying or emailing the contact above. We do not sell contact lists or automatically send follow-up invitations.
